Although I seldom do interviews, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to spend some time on the air this week with a great DJ, Pat Patterson. He has an exceptional show broadcast on Sunny 103.5 FM WZSN in Greenwood SC, another on John FM 104.9 WWJN in Hilton Head, and is a perennial nominee with the Carolina Beach Music Academy for his work. I use the term “work” very lightly because when you’re around him, it’s not work, it’s always fun and let me tell you we had a “large” time. He came very close to playing the unedited version of “My Baby’s A Seafood Platter” on the air, but wisely opted to keep his license instead.
I’ve had fun my entire life but I don’t remember having a better time than I had this past spring at the SOS Spring Safari in N. Myrtle Beach. When I received my copy of the SOS Care Free Times magazine I found a “write up” by Dan Musgrove about Rev. Bubba. Dan’s affiliated with the Twister’s Shag Club in Cornelius NC and we thank him for his kind comments.
Ted Bell at 94.9 the Surf in N. Myrtle Beach tells me requests have really picked up for our song “If You Can’t Shag”.
