Dear Sir (or Maam)
My beer of choice had been Bud Light. I laughed when Coors was sold to the Canadians and even snickered when Miller Beer was bought by the South Africans. I knew my American beer, Budweiser, was safe from foreign intervention and then they sold out to the Belgians. Can you recommend a good American owned beer that is affordable and readily available in most stores so I won’t be contributing to these foreign economies?
I was in Nashville a few weeks ago and realized as I drove past MCA records (home of George Strait and Reba) that MCA was owned by the French. Driving past RCA records it came to me that RCA is now owned and controlled by BMG, a German company, and Sony, a Japanese company. Something’s wrong when the Germans, Japanese, and the French control American country music. Do you think my new song ”Achtung Baby, Can I Peek at the Truffles in your Kimono?” will be a hit?
What’s next……..Pierre and Ho Chi Minh’s Authentic Southern Styled BBQ? The way I look at it, we’ve given half this country away already, and now we’re selling the other half. Rev. Bubba D. Liverance
